having never seen The Wicker Man my link to Edward Woodward is The Equaliser. Not that i have ever seen any of that either.
No, The Equaliser in my youth was the signifier that it was my bed time and i am quite happy to keep it that way.
In fact with the advent of all the digital channels i am sure that one of the ITV channels show it during the day as they try to fill up schedules with old shows from the 70's and 80's but i still evade it as best i can to preserve my odd memory.
RIP Edward Woodward.
